Hey everyone,
Sometimes, the crew here at Ominous comes across cool, non-Ominous Kickstarter projects that we think are worth your time and attention. When you get a free minute, take a look at this one:
Keith is an extended member of the Ominous family tree (he's the one that got hit with the ugly stick) and he and Dev Madan have put together a really cool, offbeat project together.
I've already read it and it's so much fun, I even contributed a pin-up to the book!

I told my creative flunkies to send out a quick little update to remind all of you awesome backer dudes and dudettes of what we have coming your way soon!
Check out this spread of cool pages, especially that sweet shot of my front... right up front. My art guy Andy Smith sure can capture my heroicality. That's a word, right? I mean, look at me. It's like the gun show is always in town.
The writing, drawing and crayon guy are chugging away, finishing up the incredible story of my first-ever adventure, and I couldn't be more stoked.
Thanks again to you intelligent, gifted backers for supporting my awesome project! I’ll make my guys update you again real soon!

I'm not used to this, because people are usually thanking ME. But in this case, I'm the one saying thank you to all of our awesome backers! We made out funding goal for My Kick-Ass Graphic Novel, and ... as hard as this is for me to admit ... we couldn't have done it without you! Thank you to everyone who pledged and shared!
Look how happy I am!
The so-called creative team will be finishing up the last story pages, and putting together this impressive tome. The printing and shipping elves have to do their thing, and we should start sending you your sweet hardcovers in May. Sometime before then, you'll get a Backerkit survey you have to fill out, so we know where to send your goodies. Got It? Good!
I guess even a hero needs help once in a while, so thanks again for all you've done!
